Idempotency
Repeating an operation with the same identity should not duplicate its business effect.
Applicable example
In an order consumer, store the event identifier and state change in the same transaction. A second delivery finds the identifier and acknowledges without charging again. The demo simplifies this scenario; it has no persistence.
